Meet Michael K. Mielke, Master Stairbuilder
I started my stair building career 25 years ago working in a finish interior wood stair company. I moved up to the working shop foreman position in a prominent stair company in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to starting Mielke Stair Company I spent 13 years in sales and project management.
My range of positions has included project planning, design, installation, quality control and most importantly customer satisfaction. I am continually refining my skills and have participated in many advancement programs. I am dedicated to doing what I enjoy most, which is making your dream of a custom stair come true.
I have built many fine relationships with some terrific builders and homeowners alike and appreciate them all. As we move forward we hope to continue to build on those relationships and create many more.

As Mike's wife there have been many days when we discussed the need to move in our own direction. I felt Mike's talents and experience were under utilized and he had so much more to give. With his extraordinary skills and my business sense we moved forward with Mielke Stair Company, LLC. We decided that I would do what I do best, which is run the office and he would do what he does best, build stairs.
